Nine year old Lara Huxley (above) of Tonbridge Judo Club won a gold medal at the Sussex Red and Yellow belt competition held in Worthing recently.

Also down at Worthing were Enrico Atkinson (above) and Sam Greig acting as Junior Level 1 referees. This helped them gain valuable experience into understanding a competition from the perspective of a referee. They both hope to take their level 2 exams which will allow them to referee at events up to Orange belt (9th Mon).
