Luke takes gold at the Red Belt Rumble

Congratulations to Tonbridge Judo Club’s Luke King (pictured far left) who won a well-deserved gold medal at the Sussex Red Belt Rumble competition held in Worthing just before Christmas.

Nine-year-old Luke, who attends Hadlow Primary School, won his first fight with a throw for ippon (maximum score of ten), his second fight on points and the gold medal fight with another ippon. He beat competitors from Westcroft and Seishin clubs.
